About Me

My photo
Ancient_Editor
On my trip around the block I've walked through two corporate takeovers (once in a daze), seen the rise of the chain store, and the beginning of e-books. I have an enormous interest in history but a shallow memory. My husband Tom Lalicki, who writes historical fiction, shares this interest, and he remembers the dates. We make our home about a 43 minute train ride up the Hudson from the office. I’m a SVP and editorial director for HarperCollins Children’s Books, but I may have worked with you at Coward, McCann/ G.P. Putnam, Four Winds/Scholastic, Bradbury Press/Macmillan/S&S, NGS, or Morrow (twice.)
